AUSSIE SPIRIT'S GOLDEN RUN



The Australian Women's Olympic Softball team has continued its Golden run 
at the Canada Cup, advancing into the Championship round undefeated.

Aussie Spirit completed its demolition of the round robin event with a 10-0 
win over the Canadian Development team overnight.

In  7 games the Aussies have belted 45 runs and conceded just 2.

The highlight of the round robin series was a superb 5-1 victory over world 
number 2 and reigning Olympic silver medallist Japan.

That victory followed a 1-nil win over world number 4, China.

Aussie Spirit now moves into the Championship round, with games beginning 
this weekend.
