Richwrap Fastpitch went 2-2 and moved to 29-16 on the year after competing
in the AFSA Classic in Aurora, Illinois this past weekend as they prepare
for the upcoming ISC II Tournament of Champions.

In game 1, Richwrap defeated BHAC of Rockford, Illinois 2-0 in a game that
doubled as the championship of NIFC Travel League.  This game was a
pitchers duel from the start with Ray Renolds (6 In, 2R, 3H, 0BB, 13Ks)
taking the tough luck loss.  Brett Brubaker (7 In, 0H, 2BB, 9Ks) Earned the
win.  Hitting star of the game was Luis Saldana who hit a 2 run HR in the
5th to give Richwrap the victory.

In game 2, Richwrap was on the losing end of a game to Midland, 8-1.
Midland pounded out 11 hits in the victory.  The lone hit for Richwrap was
a single by Dean Lockas to breakup the no-hitter in the 5th.  Larry
Lagerhausen took the loss.

Game 3 saw Richwrap score early on the QC Sox and hold on for a 5-1
victory.  The big hit was a 3 run HR by PJ Mckinney in the first inning.
Vic Flores (7 In, 1R, 6H, 3BB, 7Ks) earned the win.  Jeremy Bergman was 3-4
and Luis Saldana was 2-4 in the game.

In game 4 Richwrap was shutout 4-0 by Benton Harbor, Michigan.  Brett
Brubaker took the loss (7In, 3ER, 6Ks, 4BB, 5H).  Richwrap was held to 4
singles in the game.

Richwrap next action is Tuesday in Yorkville.
