JRW and Associates finish 10th in first ISC II

Thursday afternoon at the ISC II Tournament of Champions in Fargo, ND, the
JRW & Associates team from Yakima, WA met the Whips of Gladstone, Manitoba
in the second round of elimination play in a game played in 30 MPH winds.

JRW pitcher Mike Trotter, a legend at 65 years old, started the game, but
gave up two runs in the first four innings. Dave Drotzmann relieved in the
fifth and shut down the Whips for the rest of the game.

But the JRW batters could not solve the offerings of Kevin Plett, a
look-alike of Greg Newton. JRW 's Catcher Troy Grow singled for the team's
only hit.

Plett struck out 10 and only allowed one runner to reach third base.

The loss eliminated the JRW team, earmarking the team with a 10th place
finish in their first appearance in ISC competition. The team finished at
30-19 for the season.

JRW & Associates complements the Tournament Directors and Host Committee for
an outstanding and well organized Tournament of Champions and looks forward
to Chippewa Falls in 2005.
