Storm steal victory from Jacks

ABRAM-VILLAGE, PEI - Joey Chaisson scored the eventual game winning run on 
a seventh inning wild pitch as the St. Louis Storm rallied for a 4-3 win 
over the Wellington Arsenault Sawmill Jacks.

The Source for Sports Men's Intermediate Fast Pitch League game was played 
Tuesday at the Evangeline schoolfield in Abrams-Village.

For St. Louis, Chaisson (1-2, single, walk, sac, two runs scored), Jamie 
Betts (2-4, two singles, RBI, stolen base), Jon Broderick (2-3, two 
singles, walk) and Curtis Reilly (1-1, RBI, stolen base).

Leading the Jacks was the hot bat of Jeff Richard (1-3, two RBI), Jeff 
Gallant (1-3), Jamie Caissie (1-3, run scored), Jon McNeil (0-2, RBI, walk) 
and Gerald Gallant (1-4).

Winning pitcher Jamie Betts went the distance, allowing three runs on four 
hits, walking three and sitting down six.

Losing pitcher Neil Arsenault went one inning in relief of Shawn Gallant, 
allowing one run on one hit, walking one and striking out one. Gallant went 
six innings of five hit ball, giving up three runs, walking three and 
fanning four batters.
