The semi finals of the NFMFL concluded last night with Central Collision 
defeating Mack O'Rooney's 2-1 on a clutch two out 7th inning single by 
Darren Grey. Scott Wager and Rich Vassos both pitched seven strong innings. 
Central earned a right to the finals defeating Mack's 3 games to 2 in a 
tightly played series. Wager was a workhorse pitching all but one inning in 
the 5 game series.

Central now takes on Red Hot Chilli Pepper in the finals, Chilli defeated 
Cool Hand Lukes 3 games to 1 on Tuesday night in an extra inning affair 
behind the pitching of Andy Hicks. This too was a tightly played series 
with Lukes giving the Pepper all they could handle. This assures a new 
league champion in 2004 with the elimination of Mack's.
