   Finals

Some news from Eastern Ontario fastball leagues:

Kemptville area Men's Fastball League:

The finalist have been determined for the best-of-five championship in the
Kemptville area league.  Defending champions Kanata Team Easton (#3) will be
facing league newcomers Fitzroy Harbour WC Electric (#4).  Team Easton
defeated the Stittsville 56ers 3 games to 1, while the WC Electric upset the
regular season champions Manotick Lomor Printers in a fifth and deciding
game in Manotick last night.

The finals start tonight, Sept 22 at 8:30 at the Stittsville diamond.  Game
#2 will be held in Carp on Thursday Sep 23 at 7:30, as part of the annual
Carp Fair festivities.  Future games are to be determined.

Bar (#2) team in the best-of-seven final.  Cory Costello has the three wins
for Micksburg and Mark Wright has the win for Shawville.  Game 5 goes
tonight at 8:30 in Micksburg.
