Lords defeat St. Clair College twice and finish undefeated 12 - 0
Amazing win steak record now at 39! Wow! Play-offs next!!

Summary: Record winstreak extended to 38 with this 2-0 win!  The 
back-to-back defending OCAA Champions downed St. Clair in this game thanks 
to the 1 hit pitching performance of freshman Kristin Hurst and rbi's from 
Karen McWilliams and Hurst herself.   It was a cold miserable day in 
Windsor and although the field was made playable after several rain delays, 
the first game was played in full.  The game starts were pushed back twice 
during the day. Coach Nemish indicated that it was the coldest weather 
conditions he had ever coached in during his 16 year college career.

39 wins in a row!!!! Amazing 20th regular Season Pennant Title!!!

Summary: Record winstreak extended to 39 now with this regular season 
ending 5-0 win! And clinching their 20th regular season conference pennant 
since 1981 and the 13th pennant in the past 14 years (8th pennant in a 
row!)    The back-to-back defending OCAA Champions downed St. Clair in this 
game thanks to Erin Smith's 4 hit shutout. For Smith ( a senior) it was her 
final regular season start of her amazing OCAA collegiate career.  The cold 
miserable weather in Windsor continued in game 2 for both teams.  The Lords 
were led offensively by veteran Catcher Vanessa Chaborek's 2 run inside the 
park homerun in the 5th inning. With the win, Smith is now an unbelievable 
40-2 in her collegiate career. (a perfect 28-0 in conference and play-off 
action). This marks the 7th time in school fastball history that the Lords 
have gone undefeated in the regular season.  The Lords are coached by Jim 
Nemish and Assistant's Mal Swift and Rosemary Theriault.

Other notes: The record 39 consecutive conference wins dates back to the 
second game of the 2002 season.   An amazing feat since it also includes 
the play-offs!!! .........Lords will now prepare at practice this week for 
the OCAA Championships to be held this coming weekend at Seneca 
College........the undefeated regular season is the 7th in the history of 
Lords Fastball dating back to 1981.....the team will try and complete a 
perfect season this weekend in going after their 3rd consecutive OCAA 
Championship..... the Lords have won an unprecedented 11 OCAA Championships 
in Women's Fastball...... The Lords will take on, it appears, Seneca 
College (6-6)   in their opening game of the Championships. It would be at
