Steve Langley returns to Black Knights for 2005

     Fargo Bergstrom Black Knights Off-field Manager, Jon Kegel, is pleased 
to announce the return Steve Langley  to their pitching rotation for the 
upcoming 2005 season. Steve was an important part of a pitching staff that 
earned the Black Knights tournament victories at Grand Island (where he 
defeated both World Champions Broken Bow Spirit and 4th ranked Calgary) , 
Winkler Manitoba and the Fargo Holme Classic as well as a playoff berth in 
the 2004 ISC World Tournament.

      Langley is a proven thrower at the Open Level of Men's Fastball who 
has shown he knows how to perform on the big stage, the ISC World 
Tournament. Over the past 3 World Tournaments Langley has a very impressive 
9-2 won-loss record with wins over ranked teams such as County Concrete 
plus a no hitter in 2003 at the World Tournament in Kimberly. He has also 
pitched at several Canadian Nationals. He brings a great deal of experience 
and leadership at the Open Level to the team and Manager Ferdi Nelissen is 
pleased to have him as one of his pitchers to shut down opposing defenses. 
He is a perfect fit on the Black Knights pitching rotation as he 
compliments Darcy Byrne and his hard rise ball with a tremendous drop ball. 
Having caught Langley Nelissen is well aware of his ability to frustrate 
teams with his hard drop while mixing in a good hard rise ball and change up.

     The Black Knights are pleased to again have Steve Langley in the mix 
for the 2005 season at Open Level. Stay tuned for more updates about player 
signings and schedule for the Black Knights.
