Subject: Explorers Update

Midland, MI

As the new year rolls closer, things have been anything but quiet on the
Explorer front. The booster club has been busy trying to secure the
necessary funding and has been successful to date. In addition to the ASA
and ISC, scheduling is approximately 50% complete as we've heard from
Monkton, Orillia, and Decatur and tentatively planning on trips to Erie and
Woodstock. Allentown is on the horizon, as well as invitations from Jarvis
and Ashland. The 4th annual Boulevard Lounge Invitational will be held
June 10-12, and we're starting to hear from teams want to make it to Currie
Stadium for a great weekend at one of the premeire venues in the
sport. Any teams who are interested in either attending the Boulevard
tournament, or coming into Midland for DH's should contact either myself or
our manager, Clint Beane at 989-662-2295.

There will be some new faces in uniform this year as Terry Boetsma, Steve
Roberts, and Mike Gohsman have all decided to take a step back from the
Major circuit. Their contributions to the team can't be measured in home
runs or batting average, as they were invaluable teammates and
representatives of the sport.

We're still awaiting word from a couple of last year's team members as to
their plans, but we have made a couple of official additions.

First, Sean Zabaroski of Ann Arbor will be joining the team as a
C/DH/1B. Sean has played for the Explorers various weekends in the past,
and most recently played for Planggers. A veteran of 4 ISC World
Tournaments, Sean brings a strong bat and versatility to the team.

And in a major development, the Explorers are pleased to announce that
Craig Crawford has joined the team for 2005. With his Canadian National
Team experience and ISC All-World accolades, Craig brings his elite talents
at the plate and behind it, back to Midland. Manager Clint Beane - "After
we got word that Booty and Sarge weren't coming back, our wish-list had
Craig at the top. His presence makes any lineup in the sport more
dangerous. We're glad it's ours."

Stay tuned for more news out of the Explorers camp in the upcoming weeks.
