Frankenmuth, MI

The Up-to-Date Painting Fastpitch Club would like to announce
plans for the 4th Annual Pete Schwab Memorial Fastpitch Tournament
to be help July 29-31st in Frankenmuth, MI. Games will be played
on three adjacent fields along the Cass River in beautiful Heritage
Park.


The tournament format will be similar to previous years with
four guarenteed round robin games and a playoff. 12-16 teams
are expected. Entry fee will be 300 USD. Competition will be
open to all ASA A/B or ISC II teams. Pitching will be limited
to those eligible to pitch at the ISC II level, unless permission
is granted ahead of time by the tournament committee.

already expressing interest in this years event include: Up-to-Date
Painting (Millington, MI), Ashland Merchants (Ashland, OH), Indiana
Jaybirds (Anderson, IN), Priority Mortgage (Grand Rapids, MI),
Frankenmuth Fastpitch (Frankenmuth, MI), Munger Bulldogs (Munger,
MI), and Tiffany's (Frankenmuth, MI), Frankenmuth is one of Michigan's
top tourist destinations (very popular for wives and girlfriends),
so I recommend that plans for lodging be made early (see www.frankenmuth.org
for a list of community attractions and lodging).
