Thomson, IL.

Congratulations to the Thomson Merchants for winning the 2006
Northern
Illinois Fastball League. The win earns the merchants a bid for
the
2007 ISC World Tournament.

Thomson defeated Aurora Dolan and Murphy 1-0 in the final behind
the
tremendous pitching of Jonas Mach of the Czech Republic. Scott
Glazier's HR in the first inning was all Thomson needed as Mach
only
allowed 2 hits over the seven innings. Juan Pottolichio took
the loss
only giving up 3 hits. It was an extremely well played game with
great
defense by both teams. Below are the Sunday playoff game recaps.
