The Blackburn Transport Fastball team from Terrance Bay N.S.
captured it's first Intermediate A Eastern Canadian Championship
this past Sunday with a 4-0 victory over the Halifax Tribe in
beautiful Berwick Nova Scotia.
Blackburn finished the tournament with a perfect 5 and 0 record.
Pat Slaunwhite was named tournament and playoff MVP while posting
a 4 and 0 mark and pitching a 3 hit, 16 strikeout gem in the
final. Pat only gave up 2 runs in all four games combined.
 
Congratulations on a great showing to Pat and all of his teammates.
