NORTH STARS CLINCH THE BRAD RIENGUETTE MEMORIAL TROPHY

It took just 11 games for the North Stars to clinch the league
title . League action on Monday in the Quentin Seeley Remax Fastball
League . Veteran Cory Stolar pitched a two hitter 11-0 win in
5 innings (7 run mercy rule) . Mike Cain and Pat Landriault hit
2 for 3 for the Stars . Stolar picked up 10 K’s and Percy Tobobundung
(Seminoles) suffered the loss .
In the opener Paul Lizotte and Gary Lamothe of the Hounds combined
for a 2 hitter and fanned 10 batters on their way to a 13-2 dumping
of the Dog House in 5 innings . Todd Parsons 2 for 2 and Eric
Legendre 2 for 3 hit well for the Hounds who moved into a tie
for second position .
