Bob McGowan, ISC Commissioner for Eastern Canada is pleased to announce the draw for the eastern Ontario ISC II Qualifier being held in Blackburn (Ottawa east) June 24-26.
The winner of the tournament will receive one of the much sought-after berths in the ISC II Tournament of Champions to be held in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin in August.
The tournament features the ISC II #6-ranked Kanata Team Easton Thunder squad led by top pitcher Dan Konkle and the ISC II #16-ranked Micksburg Twins led by ace Corey Costello.
Games for the 10-team double knockout tournament start Friday night and continue all day Saturday with the winner’s bracket final scheduled to go Saturday at 8:00 pm. The championship game is slated for 1:00 pm Sunday with the “if necessary†game to follow immediately after.
