Maddy’s Photos for Christmas

Tuesday, December 16th, 2008

From our brother blog, the Morning Brief, we offer this last-minute Christmas gift idea for your fastpitch friends – photos from Maddy’s Photos.com! Maddy has taken thousands of photos from the ToC over the past few years, including nearly 500 that were posted just from 2008.

For the Christmas season, (Maddy’s 12 Days of Christmas) she has reduced the standard prices for photos, and also added digital images to the mix. So if you are struggling for gift ideas like most of us, an enlargement might go well with that picture frame you bought. She also added other photo-gift options from SmugMug (stocking stuffer items like T-shirts, keychains, buttons, and such). (I found those items a little pricier, but SmugMug’s pricing dictates most of that).

So for Maddy’s 12 Days of Christmas, enjoy the reduced price of prints ($3, $7 and $12 for the standard sizes), or some of that well deserved year end time off, to just peruse the photos at her gallery. Looking for galleries from prior tournaments? Stay tuned, they will follow soon.

2008 ISC II Photos

Tuesday, September 2nd, 2008

If you were at the 2008 ISC II Tournament of Champions, you doubtless saw Maddy Flanagan and her camera. Maddy does an absolutely phenomenal job taking photos and we were lucky to have her as the official ISC II photographer this year.

Having taken more than 5,000 photos in just four days, Maddy has been busy combing through the raw photography to find the best of the best.

She is now beginning to post them at her site Maddy’s Photos.

For a direct link to the ISC II gallery, click here.

As always, if you have a photo i.d. that you can provide, please send it to us.

Enjoy!

TNT’s Jay Herr Featured on the Cover of 2008 ISC Media Guide

Saturday, March 29th, 2008

I haven’t gotten my hands on a copy of the ISC’s 2008 Media Guide yet, but there is a thumbnail shot of it at the official ISC website. (photo of it shown above)

Fastpitchwest’s own Maddy Flanagan had a hand in this one, including those two photos that appear on the cover. At top is a shot of Jay Herr, of the 2007 ISC II T of C champions, TNT of Lebanon, PA, hitting one of his record breaking seven home runs. Below that is a shot of The Farm’s Rod Peterson accepting the 2007 ISC World championship trophy at Kitchener, Ontario Canada. Inside the media guide you will find more of “Maddy’s Photos” taken at last year’s ISC World Tournament and ISC II Tournament of Champions. We’ll post more information on how to get your copy so keep an eye out. It’s THE annual publication in the world of men’s fastball, and you’ll want to get yours.

Sunday, February 11th, 2007

Our good friends at Cutro Professional Inspections (CPI), got a little bit of snow in the past few days in Oswego, New York, curtailing early season workouts.

Saturday, August 26th, 2006

We are pleased to share a link to some photos of Budd Park taken prior to the start of the tournament, as well as a number taken in Kitchener and the surrounding countryside during the week.

And just for good measure, here is a bonus shot that Maddy didn’t include in the Kitchener gallery that I think it he best shot of all. It was taken in the countryside, about a half hour from the fields.
