Canada East Qualifiers this weekend

Both of the Canada East ISC II qualifiers kick off this weekend with games in Palmerston/Harriston June 20-22 and McNab-Braeside June 21-22.

Watch for scores to be posted here throughout the weekend.

Three teams from the Palmerston/Harriston tournament will qualify for the 2008 ISC II Tournament of Champions being held in Appleton, Wisconsin.

Opening round games are as follows:

Here is the (ISC II) schedule for the 42nd Annual Eau Claire Classic set to go June 20-22. Thanks to all who made efforts in many ways, and thanks for patience as teams were faced with tough decisions. This year’s tournament will feature 7 ISC teams competing for a berth to this year’s World Tournament along with 6 ISC II teams competing for a berth to the 2008 ISC II Tournament of Champions.

Editor’s note: Both Sioux Falls and St. Paul have already qualified, so the berth will be up for grabs among the remaing four teams. Herda & Son’s may be a team to watch at this event. They have added ace Jeremy Holman from the New Image squad along with Cuban defector Jose Naranjo.

CPI & I4C qualify for ToC

#6 Oswego, NY CPI did things the hard way in their home tournament with playoff wins over#4 Perkasie, PA Hoffman Rise and #9 Ottawa, ON Team Easton Thunder to nail down 1 of 2 berths to the 2008 ISC II Tournament of Champions.

Meanwhile, N/R Carp, ON I4C Victory took out #19 Glencoe, ON Astros 12-4 and then upset #7 Waterdown, ON Hammer to unexpectedly claim the second berth available this past weekend in Oswego.
